Potsdam is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany thanks to its geography, surrounded by lakes and forests, and its history. Potsdam was the summer residence of the Prussian kings, which explains why the city hosts so many palaces, museums and parks.

The workshop will take place in the Albert Einstein Science Park, Building H, Ground Floor (on the first floor there is the canteen were lunch for the participants will be available). Here is a map of the Albert Einstein Science Park (pdf version)

The Albert Einstein Science Park is a complex of buildings that belong to different institutes. Two of them belong to the Astrophysikalisches Institute Potsdam, whose main site is outside the Park. They are the Einstein Tower, built to support experiments and observations to validate Albert Einstein's relativity theory, and the Great Refractor, the fourth greatest refracting telescope in the world. The Research Centre For Geosciences is the largest institute in the Albert Einstein Science Park. We direct you to their website for informations how to get there.
