Visits to and from the AIP
School classses of all ages can visit the AIP after previous appointment. On special occasions, e.g. project weeks/days etc., AIP scientists also travel to regional schools to directly present to the school classes and to introduce the students to the fascinating world of astronomy and astrophysics. Internships
The AIP offers a limited number of astrophysical, technical or PR internships. Interested high-school students should contact Dr. Volker Müller, sending a short letter of motivation along with a short CV and certificate of the school.
Girls' Day / Zukunftstag Brandenburg
Every year in April, the AIP invites ~40 girls (and boys) to the German "Girls' Day" / "Zukunftstag" to get a glimpse into the life as professional astrophysicist, engineer or technician at the AIP. Registrations can be made only via the central webpages linked above.
