Vacuum Control of CCD Dewars
The idea behind this is, that you want to have the possibilty to maintain the dewar systems without opening the chamber. The vacuum control system consists of:
- 2 electromagnetic valves, one for each dewar
- 1 turbo molecular vacuum pump, positioned more or less in the middle of the supply box
- T-fittings and a lot of vacuum tubes and corrugated hoses, connection material
- RS485 connection to pump control

Embedded devices
An embedded device is defined as a enclosed hardware with an accurately defined functionality within the total system and which has a software component attached to it (called a 'driver') that allows changing its internal state or reading its configuration. This include parts like filter wheels, shutters, CCD cameras etc., but does not apply to general compouter resources like switches, PC, port servers etc.
The purpose of this document is to provide an overview on components, making replacement easy, and, during the production state, allows tracking of manufacturing progress. It is intended to be as complete as possible, any missing items should be reported back to the author(s).
