AstroGrid-D

The deployment of
the Globus Grid toolkit on new AIP workstations as well as
on the clusters is currently in progress. All scientists of the AIP
can join a separate AstroGrid-D virtual organisation (VO) "AIP". As a VO
member you can use the Globus toolkit as a simple interface to run jobs
on multiple machines over night or on the AIP clusters. VO membership
also allows access on other AstroGrid-D resources once they are
integrated.
