Call for Proposals
Applications by AIP affiliates should be submitted to the e-mail
address: lbtprop@aip.de
Deadline for applications: 8:00AM, Wednesday, June 15, 2011
The proposals will be evaluated by the AIP LBT
Time Allocation Committee (TAC)
Further information about the LBT, the instruments, Mt. Graham etc can
be found on the LBTO
Science and Operations webpage.
Phase II preparations for accepted proposals for the LBT includes
a clear description of the observations to be carried out, LUCIFER scripts
or LBC Observing Blocks, and the preparation of an ASCII file containing
the primary constraints (coordinates, seeing, cloudiness, time constraints,
etc).
Note that MOS observations require MOS masks to be produced well in
advance of the observing run, so data for producing the masks should be
made available before July 11'th.
The Phase II material should be send to the e-mail address: lbtprop@aip.de
as a gzipped tar-file.
