The Off-axis unit
Image Gallery /^\

Flexure test of the off-axis AGW unit in the telescope simulator of the AIP, October-November 2003. The LUCIFER dummy (2tons) can be seen on the left. The laser providing the reference light source is held by the thin gray structure on the right.
In this picture the camera located at the nominal LUCIFER focal plane can be seen. It is the shiny circular structure mounted on the two shiny metal profiles mounted across the flange.
The laptop controls the CCD camera and the console in the back controls the AGW unit.
In this picture the laser and the beam expander providing the light is in the upper left. The Off-axis AGW unit can be seen in the middle and the LUCIFER focal plane has the CCD camera mounted slightly off-axis. The blue motor in the upper part of the picture is used for rotating the whole unit, including the 2 ton LUCIFER dummy.
