| RESPONSE: | This IDL software package calculates the response function and can be used for count rate estimations. |
| RAYTRACING: | This IDL software package simulates a SODART/OXS observation including the Bragg panel scan by ray-tracing the source photons from a fictive source to the detectors. |
| PARALLEL: | This IDL software package supports time-parallel observations of the SODART/OXS Bragg spectrometer and the other SRG instruments. |
| PARAMETERS: | This common IDL procedure contains all instrument parameters which are used in the above software packages. |
| DOWN-LOADING: | All software packages above have been tarred in one file and gzipped
and can be down-loaded via ftp (2.34 Mb). To run them, you must gunzip and re-tar the file and follow the instructions in the README files. Of course, you need an IDL compiler. If you would like to reproduce some test runs of RAYTRACING you need IDL (version 5.0) or higher. Lower versions may lead to somewhat different results due to a bug in random number generators in IDL (version 4.0). |
