The STELLA echelle spectrograph has seen first calibration light on June 28, 2005. The calibration light was fed through a 200um fiber to the aquisition and guiding (AG) unit. From there, the light passed through the currently installed 100um testfiber to the spectrograph.
First star light is planned for mid-August 2005, when testing of the AG-unit is finished.
