Arrival by car
It is recommended to use exit Potsdam-Nord which is
No. 25 on the freeway ring A10. This is only a small detour for drivers from the south,
but avoids the hassle to cross the city of Potsdam. The directions indicated on this part of
the freeway are Hamburg, Prenzlau. If you come from Hamburg or Prenzlau, it is Leipzig.
When you leave the freeway, you follow the road No. 273 to Potsdam
and, once you entered the town, to Zentrum.
There is a
JET gas station on the right hand side; after another 500 m, you have to turn to the left,
not to Zentrum anymore. The direction is then called "Babelsberg, Cecilienhof".
Watch out for the green hotel signs as in the photo. The road takes you directly to Dorint hotel, and you will see it
as on the last photo. Note that the car park entrance is on the other side of the hotel.
