I'm interested in magnetic fields in galaxies. Especially the possibility of dynamo action is investigated. The results of simulations are confronted with the observations of polarized radio emission from nearby spiral galaxies. More recent simulations you find here. The solar dynamo and magnetic phenomena in stars and accretion disks are further topics of my research.
