Old Faithful and Upper Geyser Basin

21st and 22nd August, 2001

Old Faithful with its 1½ hour's eruptions is probably the most famous spot in Yellowstone National Park. If you walk a little bit around, you can take a glance at Geyser Hill or proceed North to the Upper Geyser Basin.

Plume Geyser, erupting right as we pass.
Giant Geyser. Active only every other month.
Morning Glory Pool.
Grotto Geyser.
Castel Geyser, in steam phase.
Old Faithful, beginning of the eruption.
