Science with Robotic Telescopes at AIP

The AIP operates a robotic observatory at Izana Observatory, Teide, Tenerife, consisting of two 1.2m telescopes, dedicated to high-resolution spectroscopy and imaging/photometry, respectively. Operating since 15 years, it seems like a good time to look back at some of its scientific highlights and introduce planned 2nd generation instrumentation. But there are also additions to the zoo of robotic telescope of the institute, namely the BMK10k at Cerro Armazones, Chile. The second part of the talk will focus on the science to be enabled with this extremely wide FoV imager.
