The chemical evolution of lithium in the Milky Way represents a major problem in modern astrophysics. Lithium is, on the one hand, easily destroyed in stellar interiors, and, on the other hand, produced at some specific stellar evolutionary stages that are still not well constrained. In this talk, I will review the actual state of art of lithium evolution in the Milky Way, both in terms of Galactic Chemical evolution modeling, and on the observational side, especially focusing on the Galactic disc(s). I will also provide a new vision on the lithium ISM abundance problem at super-Solar
metallicity.
