Technical Software, Electronics, Detectors (TSED)

The team of the Technical Software, Electronics, Detectors (TSED) group supports instrumentation projects with measurement, control and regulation technology as well as with the creation of technical software. In addition to the design, assembly, commissioning and testing of circuit boards and control cabinets for dome, telescope and instrument control, hardware-related (low-level) programming is carried out. Laboratories are available for the characterisation and verification of detector systems.

The team supervises the apprenticeship training offered by Technical Section to become an electronics technician for devices and systems.
