Leibniz Book a Scientist

Speed dating with science

How do we map the universe? Why are we building ever larger telescopes? How (and why) do we search for another Sun? How did the Milky Way come to exist? How do we observe the Sun? Why do we think the universe is full of dark matter? How are galaxies weighed? How do they form their stars? And how did we find three million black holes in just a few months?

You can get answers to these and other exciting research questions from the AIP and other Leibniz Association institutions at "Book a Scientist".

"Book a Scientist" gives you the chance to talk to an expert from the Leibniz Association for 25 minutes and ask everything you've always wanted to know about your favourite topic.

When?

The individual 25-minute one-on-one meetings will take place online on 18 March 2021. Secure your "date" with a smart Leibniz mind now!

How?

To reserve a conversation with a Leibniz expert, write an email to veranstaltungen(at)leibniz-gemeinschaft.de stating your name, the topic you have chosen and the desired time slot. You will receive a confirmation email if the date is still available.

The AIP participates under the theme "Universe, Galaxies & Astrophysics".
