Our mycotopian madrigal will celebrate its premiere on Thursday, 08 July at 7:30 pm at the Telegrafenberg in Potsdam.

The performance "DAS NETZ- die wildform ist ein kosmopolit" (THE NETWORK - the wild form is a cosmopolitan) takes you through the landscape of the "Albert Einstein" Science Park and into the historic institute building.

Scientists from the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research (AWI), the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP) and the German Research Centre for Geosciences Helmholtz Centre Potsdam (GFZ) will give short lectures on their work. They enter into dialogue with contemporary dance, live composed music and media art.

A disturbance marks the beginning. The walk leads onto side paths. A little man stands in the forest and does not remain silent, for the landscape becomes a stage, data sounds and formulas dance. Deep in the undergrowth of feeling and understanding, we search for something very specific. DAS NETZ is a walk-in mycelium in the ''Albert Einstein'' Science Park on Potsdam's Telegrafenberg. A root system of the hybrid encounter of science and art, playground and model experiment for future forms of cross-species cooperation, communication and world creation. We go into the mushrooms and grow per aspera ad astra.
