Title: Can quantum mechanics explain the dark universe?
Abstract: Quantum mechanics is a theory designed to explain the microcosmos; atoms, and molecules. But in this talk, we show that if the cosmos also follows the laws of quantum mechanics, this can explain the nature of the dark universe. We show that the Schrödinger equation can naturally explain several of the controversial problems with the Standard Model of cosmology, Lambda Cold Dark Matter (LCDM). Furthermore, we see that the quantum mechanical behavior of gravitational waves can offer an alternative way to explain the accelerated expansion of the universe.
