Dr. Alexander Warmuth
I am a senior researcher in the Solar Physics section at AIP. My research focuses on energetic processes in solar eruptive events, in particular on energy release and particle acceleration in solar flares. I am a Co-I on the STIX X-ray telescope and the EPD particle detector, two instruments on board of the Solar Orbiter spacecraft. I also serve on the Science Committee of the Chinese ASO-S mission and on the boards of the Community of European Solar Radio Astronomers (CESRA) and the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Extraterrestrische Forschung (AEF).
