I am a doctoral candidate in the "Milky Way Local Volume" group lead by Roelof de Jong. I study stellar populations in the inner Galaxy using chemo-kinematical information advised by Prof Dr Matthas Steinmetz and Dr Cristina Chiappini. Parallel to my thesis project, I also work developing a Bayesian technique (StarHorse) to derive stellar parameters such as distances and extinctions.
