Judy Chebly

My thesis aims to numerically investigate the different possible scenarios for star-planet interactions mediated by the magnetic field and examine the consequences it has on both; the star and the exoplanet. My work mostly consists of modelling and simulating the star and the star’s environment.

I am also interested in Observational Astrophysics. Besides my simulation project, I work on an observation project in which I try to detect the signature of charge exchange in X-ray spectra.
