The ‘Babelsberg Starry Nights’ event series is aimed at anyone interested in astronomy. Researchers from the AIP provide first-hand reports on current topics and projects in the field of astrophysics. The next lectures will take place during the winter semester of 2026/2027, live on the AIP campus in Potsdam, Babelsberg.

Admission is free, no registration required.

Time: starting at 7:15 pm

The lectures usually last 45-60 minutes, followed by a guided tour of the Babelsberg campus and, weather permitting, observations with one of our telescopes (except for the special event in December and end of April).

The next public lectures will start in October 2026.
