Research Data Infrastructure

Astrophysics has always been at the forefront of computer-based fundamental research. The AIP is taking this approach to a new level: By consolidating automated observations, computational data reduction, and data publication within a single department, new synergies are created. State-of-the-art digital tools in a distributed infrastructure enable researchers at the AIP and within their international collaborations to generate new knowledge by analyzing highly diverse datasets.
