Dr. Elena Sacchi
I joined the AIP in November 2020 as part of the Milky Way and Local Volume group. My main focus is the formation and evolution of galaxies in the nearby Universe through the analysis of their resolved stellar populations, to understand whether and how the star formation process may depend on their morphological, dynamical, and environmental properties.
