Attention! Due to a severy problem in the Microsoft print server, the functionality of our multi-purpose devices is currently faulty. Please have a look on the workaround described in the Intranet!
The AIP operates a pool of modern multi-purpose devices for printing, scanning or fax sending. You need to authenticate in order to use the devices by using your AIP account.
After you have sent your first print job you'll get an e-mail containing an automatically generated PIN. With this PIN you can authenticate on each of the devices and get your job printed there.
You can change the PIN online. Open this link in your browser and insert your windows account credentials the following way:
Instead of your windows account credentials you can also enter your PIN in the field "User-ID". Leave the field "password" empty in this case.
Alternatively you can get a printing card from the IT-Service with which you can authenticate at the device.
The installation of the printers depends on your system (PC, Laptop ...) and whether your System is integrated in the Windows domain "astrophysik" or not. On each system only one printer needs to be configured. Your print jobs are stored on the server and you decide at which printer you want your job to be printed.

How to use the Scan function
The scanners allow you to scan documents to a central server and retrieve them from a private folder, which is also located on that server.
Alternatively you can also scan them to an E-Mail address, but in this case the scanned document may not be larger than the allowed maximum size of e-mail attachments.
