Am AIP bin ich seit Juli 2021 Leibniz Junior-Forschungsgruppenleiter im Projekt "Kosmische Choreographien". Meine Forschung beschäftigt sich vorwiegend mit Zwerg- und Satellitengalaxien, Galaxiendynamik und -entwicklung, und Nahfeld-Kosmologie.

Davor war ich seit 2018 Schwarzschild-Fellow am AIP, NASA Hubble Fellow an der University of California, Irvine (2016-2018), Postdoc an der Case Western Reserve University (2013-2016). Ich habe 2013 an der Universität Bonn promoviert. Meine Forschung wurde durch einen Klaus-Tschira Boost Fund unterstützt, und ich bin Fellow der German Scholars Organization e.V. Leadership Academy (2016-2017) und der Leibniz Leadership Academy (2021-2022).
