Title: Can quantum mechanics explain the dark universe?

Abstract: Quantum mechanics is the theory we have to explain the micro world. In this talk we discuss the advances of the Scalar Field Dark Matter (SFDM) model, also called Ultralight-, Wave- or Fuzzy- dark matter, based on quantum mechanics and we review how this model manages to explain the phenomena observed in galaxies in a simpler and more natural way than other models. Next we explain how the quantum energy of the gravitational wave background (GWB) can explain the accelerated expansion of the universe better than the standard model LCDM. Finally we discuss the possibility that the entire universe is quantum, instead of classical.
